Oral Health Clinic

   A few times per year, the dental hygiene clinic hosts an oral health clinic that allows individuals from the community to receive treatment for cavities etc, at a reduced cost.  We were given the option to help assist in the clinic during the procedures.  We were also able to practice more with sterilization, as well as gain a better understanding of the different instruments that are used for specific procedures.  It was very exciting to participate in, especially for those of us who hadn't previously been dental assistants.
