Our Kindergarten Visitors!

At the end of October, about 60 wonderful kids visited our Clinic. In a very short time span of 30 minutes, these kids visited our units to get a ride in our chairs, see our magic "squirt gun" (air-water syringe), Mr. Slurpee (suction), and pick out a toothbrush, toothpaste and sticker as a gift! Working in such a chaotic environment allowed us to get a glimpse of how draining it is trying to gain the trust of an apprehensive and scared child. Although they were only there for 30 minutes and no oral care was done, we still found this activity very challenging!
